What's New and Updates

Your convention experience matters, and we’re constantly fine-tuning the event to serve you better. From registration structures to programming choices, we evaluate every aspect of the convention annually to ensure it delivers maximum value while remaining accessible to educators at every career stage. The changes you’ll see this year are the direct result of attendee feedback and our dedication to keeping this gathering affordable, relevant and impactful.

Introducing an All-New Physical Best Workshop!

This year’s convention includes the launch of a new interactive, half-day workshop, “Health-Related Fitness in PE – A Physical Best Workshop.” Participants will discover how to make fitness in physical education meaningful, inclusive and engaging for all students. The workshop highlights updated PE standards, hands-on activities and best practices for assessment, connecting fitness concepts to lifelong health. Activities for this workshop will align with Physical Best, Fifth Edition, scheduled for publication in March 2026. Learn more about this workshop and others!
