Pre-Conference Events

You are invited to attend one of two free pre-conference events at #SHAPEKC with GENYOUth’s NFL FLAG-In-School and U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Soccer for Success programs! These events are held on Monday, March 16, so please be sure to plan your travel and arrival to Kansas City accordingly. Event registration is first come, first served, and space is limited. NFL FLAG-In-School Training

Join us for this free pre-conference event sponsored by GENYOUth’s NFL FLAG-In-School program!

Participants will learn how to implement NFL FLAG in their school using a curriculum developed in partnership with SHAPE America and aligned with the new SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards. As a bonus, all attendees will receive a free NFL FLAG-In-School kit, valued at $420, shipped directly to their school!

Since 2014, GENYOUth and the NFL have partnered to provide over 37,000 schools and community organizations with a turnkey solution to the physical inactivity crisis — the NFL FLAG-In-School Kit.

Soccer for Success Training

Join us for this free pre-conference event sponsored by the U.S. Soccer Foundation!

Kick off your convention experience with this unique three-hour, hands-on training led by expert trainers from the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Through a blend of engaging classroom content and energizing on-the-pitch activities, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to bring the Soccer for Success program back to your school.

Since 2021, more than 3,000 educators have been trained, impacting 1.2 million students nationwide. Now it’s your turn! This session will spotlight how Soccer for Success aligns with the new SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards and how it can be seamlessly implemented in any school setting.

Shuttle Transportation: Roundtrip shuttle transportation will be provided. Participants should meet at the Kansas City Convention Center, 1500 Lobby at 12:35 p.m.; shuttle will depart at 12:40 p.m. Please note: If you miss the shuttle or otherwise plan to travel directly to The Soccer Lot, please be advised that The Soccer Lot will not be able to admit participants after 1:30 p.m.
