APEAS II does not currently have published validity and reliability measures. Therefore, the results of this test should only be used for establishing a baseline and documenting progress on previously administered test items. The means reported within APEAS II should be used as a general guide, but do not reflect a valid comparison. The best use of this tool is for developing measurable IEP goals based on current performance of skills.

APEAS II Online measures four areas of motor performance for students, from 4.5 to 17 years, as well as adaptive behaviors that limit a student’s ability to participate in general physical education.
